The production of black soldier fly larvae meal for use as a protein source in animal feed is a promising industry. Describe some of the key tasks and/or deliverables you were responsible for during your project.
I assessed if there was a business opportunity to produce and use black soldier fly larvae meal in Mexico as an ingredient for animal feed. For my project, I did a supply and demand analysis, a competitive analysis, and of course a profitability/financial analysis.

What did you learn that was most memorable and valuable during your project?
During the time I spent gathering primary information in Mexico, I made great contacts with key industry players, and I learned to transfer the knowledgethe I gained into a value-added business report.

How did you apply the skills you learnt during MFRE in your project?
I applied the skills I learned during MFRE throughout the entire project. First, by planning and working on the structure, timeline, and project proposal.
