Career Ready Skills

The MFRE Graduating Project is a highlight for MFRE students time and time again. It is a 6-credit capstone course that takes place during the final 4 months of the degree. Students gain real-world experience by conducting a project for Industry Partners in private, public or non- profit sectors.

Throughout the year, MFRE students take part in professional development workshops. Whether students are looking to improve communication, master project management, or navigate the current job landscape, MFRE workshops offer tools and knowledge so students are ready to take on their careers.

The Climate, Food and Environment sector are in need of strong data professionals that can transform data into actionable insights. The MFRE Program offers a series of data analytics workshops using a variety of software tools so students are equipped with the skills to interpret, and leverage data effectively.
