    Socioeconomic Factors on Diet Quality In Canada

    Dr. Seyed H Hosseini , University of Saskatchewan

    Some studies indicate sub-optimal diet quality is a factor of death, suggest consumption of nutrient-dense food grows with income, and that higher-income affects the demand for nutritious food. Dr. Hosseini will present evidence of the impact of socioeconomic factors in food consumption.

Provides an opportunity to interact with a range of people either influencing environmental policy, or shaping the natural environment through their activities. Guests are typically government officials, industry leaders, pioneers in resource management, academics or NGO representatives.
